The Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer will lead the development and delivery of public affairs and parliamentary strategies to deliver the Online Safety Bill and its implementation, and wider legal, regulatory and public policy objectives that tackle online child abuse.
Alongside this they will lead on the development and advancement of new policy positions to protect children from online sexual abuse. You will join the team at a crucial moment for children in the UK and help us make the case for significant changes in legislation to ensure every child is safe online.
The postholder will play a key role in delivering public affairs and influencing activity with key figures in parliament and government, and civil society, with regular liaison with industry, regulators and other sectoral experts. The postholder will build persuasive, evidence-based policy positions with responsibility for thematic policy areas.
